The AI that follows your child. Not the curriculum.
Most AI tutors start with a grade level and make the child fit — and when your child wanders off to the side with a question, they steer it back 'on topic.' Wildgrove's companion does the opposite: it starts where your child's question goes, follows the tangent instead of shutting it down, and learns a little more about who your child is every session.
It starts by listening. Not testing.
The first thing Wildgrove asks your child is not 'what grade are you in?' or 'how good are you at math?' It asks what they're into. What they love. What they're curious about right now. The companion builds its understanding of your child the same way a good teacher does — through interaction, observation, and time. Not through a placement test. Your child is seen, not assessed.
No grade placement. No learning-style quiz. No evaluation gate.
The companion learns as your child does.
After every session, the companion knows a little more — what your child gravitates toward, how they like to explore, what depths they want to go to, when they want to switch modes. The plan adapts. The experience becomes more theirs over time.
You set the lens. The companion follows it.
Before your child's companion comes to life, you set the worldview and content lens — the beliefs, values, and boundaries that matter to your family. The companion stays inside that lens. You're still the parent. The companion is the guide.
You see what the companion is learning about your child.
The parent dashboard shows you what the companion has figured out: what topics your child has explored, which modes they prefer, what depth they've reached in different subjects. The companion's understanding of your child is visible to you, always.
